Ogun Condition Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has stated residents from the condition who operate in Lagos Condition aren’t allowed to maneuver out or in to the condition because the lockdown eases in a few days.
It was within the latest guidelines through the condition government over the us government-purchased partial lockdown within the condition.
Announcing via Facebook on Saturday mid-day, the governor stated the lockdown within the condition ends on Sunday, May 10, because of the first elegance the condition was granted.
He, however, stressed that using nose and mouth mask would become mandatory for everybody in public areas effective May 4.
He also called an order from the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), restricting inter-condition movement included in measures to curb multiplication of COVID-19.
Partial lockdown would come from Lagos on Monday, May 4, and business activities were likely to resume within the nation’s commercial capital.
But Abiodun stated individuals employed in Lagos, that is neighbouring condition, but resident in Ogun wouldn’t be allowed to maneuver in or from the condition.
He stated, “All schools remain closed, while students continues using their DigiClass.
“All essential service personnel will work regardless of the lockdown.
“All public religious gatherings remain banned. All pubs, clubs, stadia, public pools, spas, gyms, salons, etc. and all sorts of assemblies in excess of 15 people remain banned. Restaurants may open around the approved days for take-out meals only.
“Burials and naming events are permitted but there should not be greater than 15 people such as the officiating ministers.
“There is really a total ban on interstate travel (outdoors Ogun). Should you operate in Lagos or other condition however, you reside in Ogun Condition, you aren’t permitted to visit Lagos or other condition and go back to Ogun.”
The PUNCH reports those of the over 2,000 coronavirus cases reported in Nigeria, 56 infections were recorded in Ogun Condition, based on the Nigeria Center for Disease Control on Friday night.
