I admire people who put forth a lot of effort. How did you become a business owner?
Troy: I started out as a musician wanting to reach a bigger audience. After dealing with so many janky promoters and marketing agencies, I decided that I wanted to create something that actually works for independent artists. Well, I did just that, and In A Flashhh Marketing LLC came about. Although I initially worked with music artists, it eventually grew and I started working with several types of businesses and startups.
In A Flashhh Marketing LLC is a memorable company name. How did you come up with it?
Troy: Well, I wanted a name that would represent our style of work. We had a goal in mind to deliver orders quickly and efficiently, almost in a flash ha-ha. That’s how the name was made.
Almost every industry was affected by the pandemic. How did you manage to keep going through it all? What’s your motivation?
Troy: Truthfully, I’d have to say all praises to the Most High, the reason I kept striving during a time where so much was happening in the world. The pandemic was something that no one expected and it affected everyone in one way or another. I decided that I didn’t want to give in because the world was suffering. My motivation is my purpose. My purpose is to inspire people to see the glory of the creator through my work and the relationships I create. That’s my motivation. If I’m doing that, then I’m succeeding for sure.
What do you consider your most significant accomplishment this year?
Troy: My most significant accomplishment this year would have to be the growth of my clientele. When I first started my business, it was very hard getting 1 client a month. Fast forward to the present, I now work with several companies and creators every day. It’s a beautiful thing to see growth from something you’ve worked very hard on, ya know?
What can we expect from you in 2022?
Troy: Expect to see an expansion in our services for sure. We have much to offer and we are constantly finding ways to advance the efficiency of our campaigns.
