He started playing drums at an early age and quickly became involved in the local music scene. In 2002, he formed the hardcore rap group The Prodigy with Liam Howlett and Keith Flint. They released their first album The Fat of the Land that year and went on to become one of the most successful hip-hop groups in history.
In 2007, Mod Sun left The Prodigy to focus on his solo career. He released his debut album, Ultraviolence, that year and it quickly became one of the most popular albums of that year.
