Roseanne is back: Comedian gets new special show on Fox Nation Platform

Roseanne Barr is making her comeback having a one-hour comedy special on Fox Nation.

“Roseanne is really a comedy icon whose humor connects using the American audience unlike any other,” Fox Nation President Jason Klarman stated within the announcement. “Her capability to funnel the difficulties every day people and discover the humor inside it all has earned her the passionate following of countless dedicated fans. We’re happy to add her comedy special solely towards the FOX Nation catalog.”

Barr covers several topics within the special, and “no subject [is] not allowed,” based on an announcement. She is another producer for that special.

A Roseanne Comedy Special is going to be released within the first quarter of 2023, marking the comedian’s first stand-up special in 16 years.

In 2018, Barr’s sitcom, Roseanne, was canceled following a tweet she authored mocking former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett.

“Muslim brotherhood & planet from the apes were built with a baby=vj,” she’d written. Barr was known as out for that tweet, which many belittled as racist.

Ultimately, ABC canceled this program. “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and sporadic with this values, so we have made the decision to cancel her show,” obama of ABC entertainment stated at that time.
