Shirley Temple was a popular American child actress in the 1930s. She starred in films such as Bright Eyes, Curly Top, and Heidi. Temple was a famous icon during The Great Depression and was known for her curly blond hair and blue eyes.

In addition to being an actress, Temple was also a singer and dancer. She was a talented performer who could tap dance and sing at a young age. Temple’s popularity led to her being featured on numerous products, including ginger ale, grenadine, and maraschino cherries.

Temple’s career began to decline in the 1940s as she grew older. She retired from acting in 1950 and married Charles Black. The couple had two children together.

In 1988, Temple was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent a mastectomy and radiation therapy. Temple died of natural causes on February 10, 2014, at the age of 85.
